The Church of Jesus Brotherhood Outing is a 1-day event where a group of men—Christian and alike—come together for an overnight trip to Charlotte to enjoy an NBA game, fellowship, and meaningful connections. This annual tradition offers an opportunity for men to build friendships, enjoy great company, and strengthen bonds in a way that reflects the values of godly men. For five years before COVID, this event was a highlight for our brotherhood, drawing friends from various churches to foster camaraderie, share in uplifting fellowship, and create unforgettable memories.
The COJ Brotherhood Outing 2025 is much more than just an event—it’s the continuation of a tradition that began in 2013 and has grown immensely in popularity over the years. What started as a small gathering within the Church of Jesus has expanded into an annual celebration that now reaches beyond the church community, bringing people together for fellowship, fun, and unforgettable experiences.

For this exciting event, we’ve set up two convenient payment methods to ensure everyone has the opportunity to secure their spot.
Full Payment: Pay the entire amount of $500 upfront to lock in your attendance.
Partial Payments: Start with a minimum deposit of $125, which began acceptance on October 1, 2024. The remaining balance can be paid in equal installments of $125. Please note, the final payment is due no later than January 3rd, 2025.
Due to the limited availability of our suite, it’s crucial that we lock in our venue approximately 30 days before the event. We strongly urge you to complete your payment as soon as possible to ensure your spot in this unforgettable experience!
Yes, we are limiting the number of attendees to ensure the best possible experience for everyone. To avoid overcrowding and to make sure each person has plenty of room to enjoy the suite, we have a set capacity. This allows us to provide an unforgettable experience and foster growth for future events, where we can look into reserving larger spaces based on increased demand.
Attendance is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who complete their payments in a timely manner will have the first opportunity to secure their spot. No spot will be held without at least the deposit payment being made. So if you're interested, act quickly to avoid missing out on this exclusive event!
Each year, we carefully assess the opportunity to sponsor this event. However, there are several key factors that must be considered, including the NBA game schedule, the events and services planned by our church organization, and the costs involved in transportation, lodging, food, and securing the suite venue.
Most importantly, we gauge the interest and commitment of our attendees and the overall cost that must be borne. While we desire to sponsor this event every year, it's not always feasible. Our goal is to ensure that everyone can participate without overextending themselves financially. Rest assured, we aim to plan future events when it’s most viable and beneficial for all involved.
